EMD® HPTLC Silica Gel 60 with F254 Fluorescent Indicator Glass Plates

EMD Millipore HPTLC plates use an optimized silica 60 sorbent with a significantly smaller particle size: just 5 - 6 m compared to 10 - 12 m used for classical TLC. This enables a higher packing density and hence a smoother surface. Band diffusion is also reduced, producing very compact sample bands or spots. These features and the thinner layer (200 m) ultimately lead to highly increased sensitivity and faster analysis. HPTLC plates offer unsurpassed separation performance and are therefore ideal for quantitative thin layer analysis.

Inorganic, green, F254 fluorescent indicators for UV detection of colorless substances. Fluoresces in UV light at an excitation wavelength of 254 nm.
