Semi-Micro cells are widely used in routine UV/Vis liquids analysis. They have the same outside dimensions as Macro cells, but their cell walls have been thickened slightly, limiting the interior sample chamber width. Base thickness of 3.2 mm. Each cell has two clear windows. These Semi-Micro cells have a PTFE lid or a stopper.

The NIR Quartz SUPRASIL® 300 Semi-Micro Cells walls have been thickened slightly, limiting the interior sample chamber width to 4 mm with a base thickness of 3.2 mm. NIR Quartz SUPRASIL® 300 is a synthetic Quartz free from OH absorption. An empty SUPRASIL® 300 cell gives a transmission of more that 80% over a spectral range of 200 - 3,500 nm. These cells are identified by a red PerkinElmer logo.

The UV Quartz SUPRASIL® Semi-Micro Cells walls have been thickened slightly, limiting the interior sample chamber width to 4 mm with a base thickness of 3.2 mm. UV Quartz SUPRASIL® is a quartz of the highest purity and homogeneity. An empty UV Quartz SUPRASIL® cell gives a transmission of more that 80% over a spectral range of 200 - 2,500 nm. These cells are identified by a blue PerkinElmer logo.

The Special Optical Glass Semi-Micro Cells walls have been thickened slightly, limiting the cell interior width to 4 mm with a base thickness of 3.2 mm. The Special Optical Glass, or SCHOTT type UK 5 glass, is made from exceptionally pure raw materials. An empty Special Optical Glass cell offers a transmission of more than 80% over a spectral range of 320 - 2,500 nm. These cells are identified by a green PerkinElmer logo.
