The Flowcell for Polarimetry cell is made of special optical glass, has a 5 mL volume capacity, and a 100 mm path length. It is highly efficient, thermostattable, and has no birefringence effects. It is easy to fill and empty with no loss of sample.
PerkinElmer offers a wide range of polarimetry cells for virtually all applications, including micro cells, short path cells, flow cells, and fused silica (quartz) cells. Quartz cells are designed for elevated temperatures (200° max) and can be used for all wavelengths. Glass cells are designed for visible wavelengths above 400 nm.
