The Evacuable KBr Mini-Press uses two highly polished bolts that turn against each other in a steel cylinder to form a KBr pellet. The cylinder doubles as the pellet's sample holder. The mini-press requires, but does not include the holder (Cat. No. 290-15665).
The Evacuable KBr Mini-Press is designed for labs that have an occasional need to make KBr pellets. It is ideal for student use, as it has a very low cost.
