JG Finneran® Foil 8-Strips™ for Plates and PCR Tubes
The new 8-strips are designed for sealing a single 8-well row of a 96-well plate or a single PCR 8-tube strip. Ideal for standard PCR, sample plate storage (DMSO resistant), light sensitive assays and robotics.
Foil 8-Strips™ are:
• An economical alternative to strip-caps, reducing finger fatigue
• Each sheet has 6 foil strips on a continuous backing liner
• Strips can be used to selectively cover individual plate rows
• Conformable foil allows visual verification of seal security around each well
• Certified DNase-& RNase-free
• Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery
• Foil 8-Strips remove easily and cleanly from plate surfaces with no splash back
• Features two end-tabs with perforations for ease of handling, application and removal
• Working temperature range is -20°C; to +120°C (-4°F; to +248°F)
Special formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to:
• Minimize evaporation
• Reduce cross-contamination
