SP Bel-Art® Space Saver Vacuum Desiccators, White Polypropylene Bottoms
"Space Saver" Desiccators will hold a full vacuum (29.9 in. Hg 75.9 cm) at room temperature for 24 hours and remain airtight even if not under vacuum. Polypropylene stopcock with PTFE plug accepts 1/4 to 3/8 in. I.D. tubing and allows a controlled entrance of air preventing unnecessary turbulence. A neoprene O-ring seal assures a tight seal down to 0°C without the need for grease (ring will not be harmed if grease is used). All models include a 0.32 cm (1/8 in.) thick perforated plate. 'Flat Dome' clear polycarbonate top with large ribbed knob maximizes interior clearances and provides an average of 13% greater interior volume over standard hemispherical domes. White polypropylene bottoms can support incandescent crucibles on Minerit HD High Heat Desiccator Plates (available separately, Cat. No 144-20293).
