DWK Life Sciences Amber Safety Coated Bottles

These bottles are manufactured from amber glass (meets USP Type III standards) to protect light-sensitive samples. The PVC-based plastisol safety coating resists breakage and helps protect against broken glass. The strength, slip resistance and impact absorption qualities of the plastisol coating reduce the chance of breakage and exposure to laboratory personnel in handling hazardous materials. Bottles help meet OSHA requirements. They also facilitate pickup of radioactive materials by remote manipulators. Not autoclavable. Metal foil-lined caps are generally more resistant to organic solvents. Polyethylene (LDPE)-lined or Poly-Seal LDPE cone-lined cap for distilled water, analytical standards and reagents. PTFE liners are inert to most chemicals.
