Cytiva Whatman™ Polycap® AS 36 Capsule Filters
Polycaps are integrity testable (bubble point, pressure decay methods). Efficient design provides highly effective filtration over a small area. Protective sheath makes the outlet side of the Polycap a sterile chamber and provides protection against touch contamination. Sterile, vented and non-pyrogenic. Applications include water for laboratory use, salt solutions, cleaning/rinsing solutions, immunologicals, viral suspensions, buffers, nutrients, irrigation solutions and many others. Nylon final filter is a microporous membrane which is inherently hydrophilic and biosafe. It also has low extractables as well as excellent flow rates. The microfiber glass depth media is a pre-filter of unsurpassed quality. It is radiation and autoclave stable.
SB: Stepped barb for 6 - 10 mm (1/4 - 3/8 in.), 1/2 SB: 10 - 12 mm (3/8 - 1/2 in.). Dimensions refer to the ID of the hose. The 6 - 10 mm (1/4 - 3/8 in.) SB accepts male Luers.
