Description

Omeprazole is one of the most widely prescribed drugs and is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and peptic ulcer disease. It is a selective and irreversible proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by a specific enzyme system.
