N,N-Diethyl-p-phenylenediamine Sulfate has applications in the laboratory including for the spectrophotometric determination of phenolic and aromatic amino groups. It has also been used as a reference probe to study rapid chlorination rate constants by a stopped-flow spectrophotometric competition kinetics method.
