Description

n-Decane is used as a gas chromatographic internal standard in the analysis of oxalic, malonic, and succinic acids in biological materials. It is most commonly used in paint manufacture as a hydrocarbon solvent, and as a varnish solvent. It is also a component of automotive fuels.
