Hexamethylenetetramine, Reagent, ACS, is a white crystalline heterocyclic organic compound that is used in the synthesis of other compounds. Its main use is as a hardening agent in the production of phenolic resin molding, a solid fuel component, a food additive and as a buffering agent in the laboratory.
