Glycidol, also known as 2,3-Epoxy-1-propanol or Epoxypropyl alcohol, is an organic compound containing both alcohol functional groups and epoxide; it can be used as a stabilizer for vinyl polymers, as a demulsifier, and as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of glycidyl ethers.
