Fumaric Acid is a white crystalline unsaturated dicarboxylic acid with a fruit like taste. Properly graded material has been used as an acidity regulator and coagulant food additive and is being evaluated as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
