Fish Oil, From Menhaden is an oil obtained from the small North Atlantic fish, Brevoortia tyrannus. Fish oil derived from Menhaden boast low levels of mercury while still being high in omega-3 fatty acid. It is used in cosmetic and personal care products as a skin-conditioning agent, emollient and solvent. It appears as a liquid that is insoluble in cold and hot water.
