Dextran Sulfate Sodium Salt, Powder is a sodium salt of the sulfuric acid ester of Dextran with an average molecular weight of 40,000 - 50,000. It functions as a nonsurfactant, suspending agent with gel forming and viscosity controlling properties. It can be used in gels and moisturizers. It appears as a white micro-crystalline powder that is soluble in cold water.
