Hydroquinone, Crystal otherwise known as quinol is a white granular solid organic compound. Primarily used as a reducing agent, it can also be used to prevent polymerization of acrylic acids and other monomers that can be affected by radical-initiated polymerization. It is used as a topical skin lightening agent.
