Ketoprofen is the research grade of analso known as (RS)-2-(3-benzoylphenyl)propanoic acid, is part of the propionic acid class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is known to have analgesic and antipyretic effects and inhibits the body's production of prostaglandin.
