Urease, Powder occurs in many bacteria and several species of yeast. It catalyzes hydrolysis of urea to carbon dioxide and ammonia and is useful in the determination of urea in body fluids. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
