Tetrahydrofuran, GR, ACS is a colorless, organic liquid with a low viscosity that is water miscible. Also known as THF, it has the ability, as an aprotic solvent, to dissolve both polar and non-polar chemical compounds. As an ACS grade quality reagent, its chemical specifications are the de facto standards for chemicals used in many high-purity applications and typically designate the highest quality chemical available for laboratory use.
