Bismuth Nitrate, Pentahydrate, Crystal, Reagent, ACS is used in the synthesis of other bismuth compounds and dissolves in nitric acid. It can be hydrolyzed to form oxynitrates. It is also soluble in acetic acid, glycerol and acetone. As an ACS grade quality reagent, its chemical specifications are the de facto standards for chemicals used in many high-purity applications and typically designate the highest quality chemical available for laboratory use.
