Bromine, Reagent, ACS is an elemental liquid with a dense brown red color. It is extremely corrosive and has properties that fall between those of chlorine and iodine. Its uses vary from flame retardant and gasoline additive to uses in the medical and veterinary domains as anticonvulsants.
