Analtech® Silver Nitrate Silica UNIPLATES®
These silver nitrate impregnated silica gel plates are for argentation chromatography. They are impregnated with silver nitrate between 5% and 20%, which modifies the separation characteristics of the adsorbent layer to permit increased discrimination of certain compounds, particularly those containing carbon-carbon double bonds.
Specifications:
• Particle size: 15 µm
• Pore size: 60 A
They are available with or without a fluorescent indicator.
NOTE: The concentration of silver nitrate (5, 10, 15, or 20%) must be specified at the time of order. The most common concentration is 10%.
