Terpinyl acetate, is a colorless and clear liquid that occurs naturally and can be found in cardamom. Hygroscopic and incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, it can cause skin irritation as well as serious eye irritation. Terpinyl Acetate is poorly soluble in water but soluble in ethanol, alcohol, fixed oils, kerosene, propylene glycol and paraffin oil. It has an herbal odor and can be stored at room temperature.
