This natural product, also known as 1,6-DIHYDROXY-7-GLUCURONOSYLFLAVONE, presents as a pale yellow to yellow crystalline powder. It is known to be soluble in methanol, chloroform, dimethyl sulfoxide, 0.1N sodium hydroxide, acetic acid, and very slightly soluble in water and hexane. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool and dark place at refrigerated temperatures. (S)-(+)-Camptothecin is incompatible with oxidizing agents. This chemical is toxic if swallowed.
