Also known as Disodium Hydrogen Phosphate, Disodium Phosphate or Sodium Hydrogenphosphate, this white granular powder is soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol. It is stable, incompatible with strong acids and hygroscopic. As a laboratory chemical it is a reagent and emulsifier with a very high buffering capacity. Store at room temperature and protect from moisture, though it is acceptable to freeze.
