This urea presents as a white to almost white crystalline powder. It is known to be soluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohols. Store in a cool and dark place at ambient temperatures. 1,1-Dimethylurea is incompatible with oxidizing agents and should not be stored or handled near them. This chemical causes skin irritation as well as serious eye irritation.
