This aromatic, also known as Vitamin E, presents as a pale-yellow to red-clear vegetable-smelling liquid. It is soluble in acetone, ethanol, methylene chloride and fatty oils and insoluble in water. Store in a tightly closed container in a dry and well-ventilated place at -20° C for best results. This substance is stable under recommended storage conditions. (+)-Tocopherol is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents; avoid air and light when storing. This is not a hazardous substance.
