This monocylic alcohol, also known as Bisabolol, presents as a colorless, floral-smelling liquid. It is slightly soluble in alcohol and insoluble in water. Store in a tightly closed container in a cool and well-ventilated place. (+/-)-alpha-Bisabolol is stable but is incompatible with oxidizing agents. It may be combustible at high temperatures and is known to cause skin irritation, eye irritation, and may cause respiratory irritation.
