Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, hypochlorite and strong bases, this organic compound should be stored desiccated and at room temperature. Sodium Bisulfate Monohydrate has a characteristic odor and while it is moderately soluble in water, it is insoluble in ammonia. Risk of serious damage to eyes exists with this chemical and care should be taken when handling.
