Vee Gee Scientific® Liquid Petroleum Gas Hydrometer, Specific Gravity, with SafetyBlue Thermometer

Vee Gee Scientific® Liquid Petroleum Gas Hydrometer, Specific Gravity, with SafetyBlue Thermometer

The thermometer scale for Vee Gee Hydrometers (w/ Thermometers) is located in the body. A correction scale for conversion of readings to 60 DEG F is printed opposite the temperature scale.

Specific Gravity, also known as relative density, is the ratio of the mass of a solid or liquid to the mass of an equal volume of distilled water. The standard temperature of calibration the U .S. is 60 DEG F/ 60 DEG F. All Vee Gee Specific Gravity Hydrometers listed are calibrated 60 DEG F/ 60 DEG F.

Specifications:
• Specific Gravity Range: 0.500 to 0.650
• Specific Gravity Subdivision: 0.001
• Thermometer Scale: 30 to 90 DEG F
• Thermometer Subdivision: 1 DEG F

Optional Accessories (sold separately):
• PVC Hydrometer Case, 16.5 in. (Spectrum Cat. No. 352-10030)
• Certification Traceable to NIST (Spectrum Cat. No. 350-45652)
Note: NIST Certification must be ordered at the same time as the hydrometer
