Vanadium Pentoxide, Powder, Reagent is an inorganic compound that is a brown to yellow solid that is both an amphoteric oxide and an oxidizing agent. It is used as the main component in the production of ferrovanadium, a key component in the production of carbon steel used for infrastructure, and an important one in the production of sulfuric acid. Its reagent grade means this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
