Potassium Cyanide, Granular, Reagent, ACS is a chemical compound that is similar in appearance to sugar, it is a crystalline, colorless and granular. It is very water soluble and extremely toxic. A close relative to sodium cyanide, it is widely used in the preparation of nitriles, carboxylic acids and in organic synthesis. One of its most common uses is in gold mining.
