Ammonium Chloride, Granular, Reagent, ACS is an inorganic compound, that presents itself as a white crystalline salt that is highly soluble in water. It occurs from the reaction of hydrochloric acid and ammonia. It has uses in medicine as an expectorant in cough medicine, in metalwork as a flux in preparing metals to be tin coated as well as in laboratories to produce cooling baths at low temperatures. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured Ammonium Chloride is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
